The scene depicts the annual carpet of bluebells that appears when walking along the cliffs between Town and Fermain. Bluebell woods are an oasis of peace, and at this time of year the colours are simply perfect. The original work was laser engraved and then painted with both acrylic paints and coloured resins, creating a piece with many layers and depth.
