One of a series of three celebrating the arrival of spring daffodils in Guernsey - where these cheerful blooms appear almost a month earlier than mainland UK, thanks to our milder island climate. There's something magical about those first bright yellow heads pushing through, signalling winter's end and brighter days ahead. I was captivated by the intensity of these vibrant yellows dancing against the brilliant blue sky - that perfect contrast that only nature can create.
