Part of my lighthouse series, this piece was a requested commission specifically from this viewpoint and in landscape format. I have loved painting this iconic view and cannot imagine that I will ever tire of it. This is a view that both islanders and visitors will be intimately familiar with—a welcoming sight as they arrive by ferry and a poignant farewell as they depart the island.
