I couldn't resist capturing this pair photographing the early sunrise in January—yes, it was more than a tad nippy! But the real stars were the brave souls who ventured in for a refreshing winter swim (that print is also available here). Sea swimming year-round has truly taken off, and whilst I don't go every day, I venture in several times a year—winter months included. It really does liven you up in a way nothing else can.

What captivated me most was how the water and reflections floated across the top of the sand, creating this ethereal, shimmering surface. The original was painted in acrylic on wood, and these prints still capture that dazzling colour and luminosity—the kind of light that only happens in those crisp, early morning moments when the world feels brand new.
