Whilst Guernsey and the nearby islands are where I undertake most of my painting, I occasionally find time when travelling to capture the extraordinary scenes I'm privileged to visit. Venice holds a special place in my heart—a city where art and architecture merge with water in the most magical way.

I've been fortunate enough to experience the Grand Canal with no one else around, and there's pure joy in getting lost among the back streets and hidden waterways. As an artist, my favourite moments are simply observing the stunning architecture reflected in the rippling waters—a dance of light, colour, and history that never fails to inspire.
